Rules and Such..

Neue Welt will be based on several Challenges that catches my attention. To start with it will have the elements of the Adam and Eve Challenge, Prosperity, Alphabet Legacy, and loosely on Apocalypse. I say loosely because I am not totally insane and I have no need to drive myself crazy. For example, education for women will not be available until someone fulfills the Lifetime Want of Being an Education Minister. Also, first born male will inherit the main house but women are allowed to start their own households. Men are required to go to the University but women are not. To clarify, only one woman per generation per family (usually the eldest daughter and only if her Lifetime Want is Career-based) is allowed to attend the University.

Each family is required to live off the land, meaning that they must start farms. It is most likely that this burden will fall upon the woman's shoulders. This Challenge is also based (loosely) on historical times therefore there will be no woo-hooing before marriage. Dates and all that comes with it is permitted. Each household must have at least 2 children, this of course largely depends on what gender the children are. Clothing will be based on Victorian/Regency times. Modesty is a must.

There will be no cheats. I will be using some Hacks to make it more Period-Appropriate such as Teens being able to have relationships with adults and Teens age faster into adulthood. When I say no cheats this applies to any spare children, there will be no motherlode-bliss. There will also be no technology allowed except for a regular phone, kitchen appliances (this does not include dish washer or garbage disposal unit), and lighting is accepted.

Each family member who starts their own household is entitled to a inheritance/dowry from the main household. It is 10 percent of the family fortune. This separate household will then be considered as a new main household and whatever offspring of theirs is entitled to the same privilege.

Since this is also based on the Adam and Eve challenge, all Sims MUST participate in the proliferation of the family line. Romance Sims are NOT excused this time (sorry, my darlings). The neighborhood will be played Prosperity-Style, each round will consist of 7 sim days but is subject to change. These are the starting rules but I may add to it in the future. I hope you enjoy my new challenge.
